Leading Fashion Retailer Improves Distribution Center Efficiency By Deploying Rugged Handheld Computers and New Software

CINCINNATI and NEW YORK (November 17, 2010) - Psion (LSE: PON.L), a global provider of mobile computing solutions, and Millennium Technologies, a certified value added reseller, today announced that Jordache Enterprises has successfully deployed Psion’s 7535 rugged handheld computers, improving the quality and efficiency within its largest warehouse distribution center. With guidance from Millennium Technologies, Jordache has deployed Psion’s mobile devices to pick, pack and receive inventory.
Jordache designs and manufactures a wide variety of denim, apparel and accessories. The Psion 7535 devices provide Jordache with an updated, easy-to-use control system that has enabled increased efficiency throughout the warehouse by creating a seamless pick and pack inventory control system. Millennium Technologies helped Jordache to roll out the devices and logistics software in its warehouse. Additionally, the reseller is offering continued technology support for the new system.

The 7535 Psion device is rugged, tough and features user-friendly functionality including an easy-to-use keyboard. The 7535 allows for pick and packing, receiving inventory, allows bar code scanning and includes the total recall feature. Total recall automatically restores settings, applications and configurations so if a problem develops, productivity is protected.
