Psion and CAEN RFID Unveil Japan’s First RFID-Enabled Industrial Handheld Computer
Psion’s first version of WORKABOUT PRO based on the Impinj Indy™ R1000 Reader Chip will help drive RFID adoption in Japan

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada – February 3, 2010 – Psion Teklogix, Inc. (LSE: PON.L), a global provider of mobile computing solutions, today announced the integration of CAEN RFID’s UHF Gen 2 A528J compact reader, compliant with Japanese RFID frequencies, into Psion’s handheld WORKABOUT PRO. The rugged handheld computer, combined with the RFID reader’s operability in Japan,, creates the first RFID-enabled industrial mobile device available in this market.
