Logistics Centre Acquires Flexibility to Respond to Demand Changes with WORKABOUT PRO Speech

The specialized toy store La Grande Récré (Groupe Ludendo) has over 150 locations across Europe, with stores in France, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland and Morocco.  Like many firms in the toy market, Groupe Ludendo must be prepared to meet rapid changes in demand.

The Challenge:

  • Groupe Ludendo experiences dramatic demand changes, and as a result, cannot accurately forecast its required staff for future time periods
  • Multiple functions at the logistics centre resulted in the need for a solution that operates equally well in the “classic” data capture and read mode (RFID reading, barcode scanning, keyboard, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.) and in “no screen or keyboard” mode, i.e. through speech recognition
